It is the beginning of the harvest season, first thing is peas we pick from our garden. Having a garden is a lot of hard work and preparing the vegetables from our garden can be tedious, but after it is all done and you look at what you made it is so worth it. It is so nice to pull out some peas from the freezer and have them taste fresh picked, knowing that we grew them.
First shell them
Put them in boiling water, bring water back to a boil and cook for 2 min.
Drain them and throw them in a cold water bath.
Drain again and put them in a freezer bag. Enjoy all year long.

Thank you so much for posting the process on how to freeze them.....we did corn last year and I had no idea how to do it. Seems like I did it wrong....oh well. Thanks!!
