Fourth of July dress and smocked shirt

I still have some fabric left from my mother, actually a lot of fabric and most of it is holiday prints. I thought it would cute to make the girls some Fourth of July clothes.
I made Aria a dress and a hairband.

The camera just loves Aria and she loves the camera.

I decided to make Audrey a smocked shirt instead of a dress. It is more practical for her and she can wear it many times. I got the pattern for the shirt from the Martha Stewart Show. It is actually for a dress but can be easily made into a shirt. It was really fun to make and super easy I have added the link.

We had a great Fourth of July. We went to Corinne for their annual breakfast and saw the parade that goes around twice. We were then going to go see the fireworks, but Audrey was not feeling very well she is teething and not very happy as you can see in the pictures she did not want to give up her binky or lovey.
