Another installment of Wendy the Wreath Fairy-Rag Wreath

Another installment of Wendy the Wreath Fairy.  I had actually never made a wreath in my life until I met Wendy, and I consider myself pretty crafty.  Now I have a wreath for each season, so when it is not a major holiday, I still can have something cute on my door.  The wreath we are talking about today could go any direction, because it is with fabric, and the options are endless.

Rag Wreath

Large Straw Wreath*
7 fat quarters (or whatever fabric scraps you have hanging around)
tulle
Ribbon, a couple spools(I mixed some narrow and wider ribbon in also)
Philips Head Screwdriver (looks like a star on top)

Lay out fabric and measure 6 1/2 inch by 1 inch measurements and rip, rip the fabric into strips.  Then take the strips and with the screwdriver poke the middle of the strip and shove it into the wreath.  And keep inserting the fabric strips all around the sides and front of wreath.  Then fill in with the tulle (6 1/2 x 1 inch strips) ribbon (6 1/2 inch lengths) and fill it all in until you like it.

*You could make a smaller wreath if you like and just reduce the materials needed.
