I just love taking my girls to my hometown fair and show them all the things that I loved to do when I was little. I was in 4-H from the ages of 8-18 and entered a pig every year. I lived at the fair for those three days that we showed our pigs and then auctioned them off on the very last day. It is not a very big fair but it is free to enter and free to park. A few things that is a must when I go is first, get a Farm Bureau Hamburger and a lemonade, second go see all the animals, especially the pigs, then get some cotton candy for the ride home. I have such good memories of this old time fair and I hope I can continue to bring my children every year and then maybe they can bring theirs some day.
