This weeks recipe is top secret! That is what Brian thinks about it. I even had to ask him if it was okay to post it and then he had to call his Dad, whom I got this recipe from, to ask him if it was okay. This chicken recipe is called Seventy's Chicken, weird name, I know. I don't know the whole story behind this recipe, but it has something to do with the Quorum of the Seventy and it was made at some of their dinners. This is a delicious dish and is a family favorite.
Seventy's Chicken
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
Mix together in saucepan and heat until warm
4-5 pounds of legs or thighs or both. Skin removed.
(Dark meat works best in this recipe, white meat tends to dry out.)
Dip chicken in sauce until entirely coated. Place chicken on cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees, uncovered for 40 min. then turn over and cook another 40 min.
