Fall Wreath and Fall Boutique

Wendy the Wreath Fairy and I made this wreath a few months ago and I could not wait to hang it up.  I was waiting until September for when sunflowers are growing rampant and perfect for cooler weather (hopefully coming soon).  Our schools are starting up tomorrow, so it has felt like summer was extra long.  I am ready for crunchy leaves and crisp air.

I did some research on pinterest on these kinds of wreaths.  So many ladies hot glued each filter on the foam.  I could just imagine the many burnt fingers I was going to have.  Wendy and I just pinned the filters on and they have stayed put!

So what you need to make this wreath

Large Foam Wreath

Lots and Lots of Coffee Filters (We used Western Family Brand, the natural kind.)  You will need at least two packages.

Straight Pins (just regular sewing pins)

Sorry I didn't have many pictures or a tutorial.  But you just take individual coffee filters and gather the bottom of the filter.  Start pinning each filter on the inside of the foam wreath and then the outside; then fill in the rest.  Remember to tie a piece of string around the wreath so you have something to hang your wreath from.  It is super puffy when done, so it can't really be hung on a wreath hook.

Dreamcatcher with colors of turquoise and silver. Delicate little feathers and beads dangle from the hoop center.
Lilla Rose just released the September Flexi of the Month

I will also have some of my Lilla Rose at the Mutton Hollow Country Barn Boutique this week and weekend. If you are in the area swing by and see the cute stuff they have.

Sorry this picture is not so clear.  The address is 169 E Mutton Hollow Road, Kaysville
