We have had a fun August and now it is coming to a close with summer along with it. Our school starts next week so we are going to cram in a few more things this week and then we will be ready.
I have posted some pictures of what we have been up to this month.
Audrey did her hair one day and decided to use all the clips we own.

Aria and Audrey's first lemonade stand. I think they made $4.00
Aria was in 4-H this year but was not quit old enough to be judged but was able to still enter as a participant and got two green ribbons. She worked really hard and sewed a pillow case and made some peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies all by herself. So we visited the Davis County Fair for the first time. They had a little petting zoo, sting rays and pony rides which were fun.
Last weekend we visited the Heber Girls Home. Brian's parents are missionaries up there for the season and they were able to have family night with all of us. They have lots of challenge courses and one of them was a zip line. Well I have been on some zip lines, but not ones that you climb up 20 or more feet, walk across a tight rope and then go down the zip line. So I wasn't to excited to do that part. Aria was really brave (she is really scared of heights by the way) see her not to happy face.
She climbed the pole half way and then said she was done. I was real proud of how far she did make it. I didn't even try to climb my butt up there.
So she let go and went for a little ride.
Brian was not scared, this is him going across the tight rope.
Next course was something I had to try. You get in a harness and you climb a little ladder, then....
..... some strong men (from Brian's family) hoisted me up in the air. See that little black square? I was pulled all the way up there. Then I let go of this strap the lady told me to hold onto. I then went swinging super high in the air.
It was fun and I screamed loud of course. And I loved that they got a picture of that sign and me swinging in the air.
Next Audrey had a turn, she was not allowed to go to the tree, they just swung her back and fourth.
She still loved it.
Aria got a try also.
But then things went bad. While waiting for everyone to take a turn, me and the girls decided to go for a hike. Aria started ahead of me and then I followed, I yelled at Audrey if she wanted to come and she started running. I said, "Don't Run!", to late. She tripped and fell onto a log. As I helped her up blood started coming from her head. Thank goodness one of the sister missionaries was a nurse and they had a first aid kit. They cleaned it up as best they could, when Audrey gets hurt she turns into a angry cat that had been tied up in a bag and just let out. The nurse did say she would need stitches in the next few hours. We decided to have dinner with everyone, calm down, and then head down to the hospital. We could not even say hospital and Audrey started freaking out.
After dinner and talking to Audrey about what was going to happen and bribing her with a toy from Toys R Us we got her to the hospital. It was a real small ER and only two nurses and a Doctor working so we had to wait a bit in the waiting room. They finally called us in and asked us if we wanted to have her put to sleep and then do the stitches (which would have taken 1 1/2 hour longer for her to wake before we could go home). She didn't want to sleep so she lay super still and just had a local numbing stuff on her forehead and the good doc stitched her up with 7 total stitches. They were super nice at the Heber Valley hospital and we were in and out of there super quick. Audrey had her stitches removed last Wednesday and she is doing great. I am so thankful that this is the worst accident that has happened to us, so I will take it. Audrey was super brave and she got herself a new Barbie.
Friday we went to the Box Elder County Fair, the Davis Fair had nothing on this fair. It is free, lots and lots of animals. Lots of booths and food.
I just love the Box Elder County Fair!

This looked like a lot of fun. I wish we had Fairs like this in Trinidad. You got some lovely pictures and I really enjoyed reading your blog.
I am following you and hope you can follow back.
