Thirty Minute Brownies
Thirty Minute Brownies
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 sticks of butter or marg at room temp.
6 Tablespoons unsweetened Cocoa
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 to 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (opt)
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter or margarine until light in color and well blended. Add the eggs, vanilla and beat well. Add dry ingredients, and mix just until blended. Add chopped nuts if desired.
Place batter in UNGREASED 9x13 Pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Don't over bake. Cool on wire rack until cool. Frost with yummy frosting ....only if you want to!
No Cook Fudge Frosting

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup butter, softened (1 stick)
1/3 cup Boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
In a large bowl combine the powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Add butter, boiling water, and the vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed until well combined. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. If necessary, cool for 10 to 20 minutes or until mixture reaches spreading consistency.

You are reminding me of your Dad! I remember going to your house on Sundays and he would be baking something yummy! I wish you lived closer and I would try all the yummy things you make.
