Christmas has come and gone. It feels like every year it seems to come faster and faster. We actually had to have our Christmas two days earlier. Brian had to work and it was was the first time he has had to in our 4 years of being married. So we decided to have it early instead of making the kids wait. Aria was super excited and woke up way to early on our Christmas morning. We told her she had to wait in her room until Audrey woke up. It was very difficult for her. Finally Audrey woke up and we decided to have breakfast and then open the pile of presents Santa left for us. We alternated opening presents between Aria and Audrey.

Audrey went first and it was a book.

Aria opened some DS games. She wanted a DS for Christmas and Brian and I was going to get it for her, but she did not know that. So the whole time she was opening DS stuff from Santa, but no DS.

Audrey getting the hang of this present thing.

A DS cover, but no DS

My parents have this same cash register at their house, but theirs is a hundred years old and I think it only has two coins. The girls always play with it and I saw one at Toys R Us and had to get it for Audrey. She laughs every time the coins come down.

Mrs. Potato Head

More books! She loves her books!

Is this the DS? Where is it?

She loves books also.

Little People Farm Set

Finally the DS!

Grandpa and Grandma Muhlestein came over for brunch after we opened all our presents. Audrey warmed up to Grandpa as long as he kept reading books she was happy.

The girls posing in their new towels.

Silly Girls!
We had a great Christmas!
