Turtle Cookies

As I was looking through my food pictures and deciding what to share today I noticed I like to make cookies. And this recipe I am going to share with you is one of my family's all time favorites! Amy, my neighbor, brought these cookies over to us one day and we seriously ate all of them in one day. I think she shared them with us again another time and I had to ask for the recipe because they are just soooo good! They are called turtle cookies because you cook them in a Waffle Iron and when you take them out they do look like little turtles, so cute! Enjoy!

Interesting use of a waffle iron! They look very much like turtles too. Great idea your neighbor had.

Looks like fun. Caramel frosting would be nice.
